The TV Show Text to Studio
Terms & Conditions

1. The Text to Studio Service ("Service") is organised by or on behalf of 4 Ventures Limited and/or Channel Four Television Corporation of 124 Horseferry Road, London SW1P 2YX, ("Channel 4").
2. By participating in the Service you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. To participate in the Service send the word TVSHOW plus your comment to 83188.
4. Messages are charged at your standard network rate. Check with your network operator before texting.
5. We may display your message on the screen and/or on The TV Show website, but it is at our sole discretion and we have no responsibility to you if your message does not appear on the screen for whatever reason and you are not entitled to any refund.
6. The content you submit must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party and will not contain anything which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening. If you post an offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive or otherwise unlawful or distasteful message Channel 4 reserves the right not to display such message, at its sole discretion.
7. If you are not the bill payer for the mobile phone, you must get permission from the bill payer before texting.
8. Channel 4 may suspend, withdraw or cancel the Service for any reason at its sole discretion and at any time. Channel 4 is under no obligation to offer refunds, but may do so at its sole discretion.
9. Channel 4, its group companies and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem in any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any text message being lost or not properly recorded. Channel 4 is also not responsible for traffic congestion or other capacity issues which may result in a text message not being able to get through or a text message not being recorded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Channel 4 hereby excludes all warranties, representations, covenants and liability (whether express or implied) regarding the Service.
10. Any personal data collected will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. Please see Channel 4’s Privacy Policy for further details.
11. Channel 4 reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this website and such posting shall be deemed adequate notice to all participants.
12. Each participant acknowledges that his or her name may appear with the message.
13. Channel 4 owns all copyright and other intellectual property rights associated with the Service.
14. Channel 4 may remove your messages and prevent you from participating in the Service if you breach any of these terms and conditions.
15. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.
