Which programme is the viewers' top dog and top bugbear in 2007?

The tireless folks at Channel 4's Viewer Enquiries team dealt with 240,131 contacts – phone calls, emails and letters – from viewers last year. Each query was logged and the appropriate people at Channel 4 notified.
Of these, 60,113 criticised Channel 4 shows, while 5,251 complimented programmes. The vast majority of contacts were general queries, such as: When is this series out on DVD? What is the name of the theme tune?

These were the most appreciated and criticised programmes in 2007. We've included the odd viewer quote to give a flavour of the comments.

5. How To Look Good Naked
   "I want to commend those behind the show for producing a show that celebrates real women."
6. Diana: Witnesses in the Tunnel
   "I would like to applaud C4 for being brave enough to air this documentary...I do not believe that it was distasteful in any way."
7. The Lie of the Land
   "Insightful, thought-provoking and brutally honest."
8. The Bible Revolution
   "Congratulations on this excellent programme."
9. The War on Britain's Jews
   "Long may Channel 4 bring us such enlightening programmes."
10. Dispatches: Undercover Mosque
    "We just wanted to take a second to commend you on your bravery."

1. Celebrity Big Brother
   In a phone call to Channel 4 a viewer, believes the bullying and harassment of Shilpa is unacceptable and should be stopped and "no prize money or appearance fees should be paid to Jade, Jo and Danielle".
   And the alternative view: "Jade Goody has been hung out to dry and Channel 4 is spineless in the way they are backtracking."
2. Big Brother
   "Why all women?"
   "Why does Channel 4 consider 'nigger' used in a 'friendly' way to be an offence, but a clearly offensive use of 'poof' is glossed over?"
3. Diana: Witnesses in the Tunnel
   "I can't believe you are going to show a programme about Princess Diana dying."
4. The Great Global Warming Swindle
   "I think it's very irresponsible for Channel 4 to give such a false impression, and to give airtime to such an un-informed view."
5. Bringing Up Baby
   "Backward, outdated and downright cruel methods of looking after newborn babies."
6. Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands
   Caller was "disgusted" at Lucy's comment's on bringing back slavery and "hating" fat and ugly people.
7. Gordon Ramsay's F Word
   "His language was absolutely terrible, as was his whole attitude."
   And on cooking horse: "Appalling, disgraceful, utterly horrifying"
8. Cutting Edge: The Dangerous School for Boys
   "I was disgusted to see the murder of two poor rabbits."
9. Dispatches: Charles the Meddling Prince
   "How can you portray such a high-ranking member of our Royal Family in such a biased view."
10. Mark of Cain
    "It's an insult to our young men in the services currently serving in war-torn areas. They were depicted as inhuman, uneducated, brutish morons."
