Series seven will mark a departure in style with former stars Jack O'Connell (300: Rise of an Empire), Kaya Scodelario (Wuthering Heights) and Hannah Murray (Game of Thrones) reprising their roles as Cook, Effy and Cassie in three individual stories, each broadcast as two parts centring on the characters now in their early twenties. Also appearing in guest roles are Skins favourites Lily Loveless (Naomi) and Kat Prescott (Emily).
The three narratives will have distinct titles: 'SKINS RISE' (Cook), 'SKINS FIRE' (Effy) and 'SKINS PURE' (Cassie), written by series creators Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain, with Jess Brittain. The final series goes into new territory; more adult, more uncompromising - the party's over and they're starting out as young adults, struggling to find a direction and a focus in unforgiving times.
