Celebrity Come Dine with Me

CorporatePortal

TX: Weekdays from Monday 10th October, 5:30pm, Channel 4

Celebrity Come Dine with Me makes a welcome return to daytime for more culinary showdowns this October.

First up, five famous Come Dine with Me newbies lay down their gastronomic gauntlets in a battle to win the charity cash prize. Going head-to-head for the week-long challenge are; darts legend Bobby George; cross-dressing 80s pop legend Pete Burns, reality starlet Chantelle Houghton, comedienne and actress Cleo Rocos and dancer and singer Andrew Stone.

With dubious cooking from Andrew, a touch of Monte Carlo glamour from Cleo and plenty of outfit changing and scathing comments from Pete, there is plenty to be seen in this Celebrity Special...if only Bobby can work out who everyone else is.

And just when you thought it was safe to go back into the kitchen... the most calamitous celebrity hosts return for a very special week of second chance dinner parties in Celebrity Come Dine with Me: Return of the Worst - and it isn't pretty!

Who could forget comedy legend Bobby Davro's ill-fated Hawaiian themed dinner party where inappropriately dressed Hula girls and a tropical Elvis were all on the menu? Birds of a Feather actress Lesley Joseph's undercooked lamb that left the other guests gagging? Apprentice star Raef Bjayou's extravagant Mayfair party where all cooking duties were left to the hired help? Ballet supremo Wayne "I haven't cooked in 20 years" Sleep's equally unimpressive meal? And glamorous socialite Tamara Beckwith's lacklustre menu that ended with a disastrous dessert?

In a Come Dine with Me first, these five failed celebrity contestants will all have the chance to redeem themselves. And with a Back to School theme on one night and a Pyjama party the next, there's sure to be shenanigans aplenty. But will it be top marks this time round, or will each party go down faster than Lesley Joseph's Iceberg Pavlova?
