Channel 4 has bolstered its regional sales operation with the appointment of Jane Hector-Jones from News International as the first ever Partnership & Digital Manager in the broadcasters’ newly reorganised regional sales operation.
Jane has been appointed by Agency Principal Ewan Douglas, who was announced last month as the leader of the Manchester based regional operation. The new role will provide a specialist focal point for Partnership & Digital in the regional market for the first time and will see Jane working collaboratively with both clients and agencies to form new partnerships, with an emphasis on Channel 4’s sponsorship and digital offering. She will report to Douglas but also work closely with Channel 4’s Partnership and Digital Leads, Rob Ramsey and David Amodio.
Jane joins Channel 4 from News International where she was Regional Head of Creative Solutions & Digital. Previously she progressed from Development Team Manager to Client Services Director at Emap Advertising. She brings excellent market knowledge to the role, aligned with extensive experience of both print & radio.
Ewan Douglas said: “Jane’s appointment is a significant step forward for C4 in the regions. For the first time our agencies and clients have a dedicated resource across our partnership & digital offering. This is an exciting moment for us as we increase both the integration and innovation we provide for our stakeholders.”
