Channel 4 today announced the appointment of David Amodio in the newly created role of Digital & Creative lead within Channel 4 Sales.
Reporting directly into Jonathan Lewis, Head of Digital & Partnership Innovation, David will be responsible for leading Channel 4’s digital commercial business, spanning across 4oD and Channel4.com. In addition, David will work directly with Jonathan to develop Channel 4 sales’ creative strategy.
In his previous role as Agency Principal within Channel 4 Sales, David led one of six agency teams comprised of specialists from trading, sponsorship, AFP, PP, creative solutions and digital. David’s transition to this new role follows the recent departure of Carl Read to OMD UK.
Jonathan Lewis said: “Over the last few months I have recognised the need to centralise creative leadership within the sales team. In addition, our digital business is entering into a new exciting phase of data targeting and increased innovation. I am delighted with David’s appointment – he has a unique mix of creative and commercial brain, which I believe will drive us forward both digitally and creatively.”
