Martyn Lawrence Bullard, presenter, Hollywood Me

Hollywood’s most celebrated Interior Designer, Martyn Lawrence Bullard is on a mission - to inject A-list glamour into the lives of unsuspecting Brits. With clients who include Elton John and the Osbournes, Martyn is now bringing his interior wizardry to a host of selfless and hard-working homeowners.

In Hollywood Me, Martyn surprises the contributors in the street with a plane ticket to LA. With celebrities including Sharon Osbourne and LaToya Jackson greeting them Stateside, the contributors will all embark on outrageous shopping sprees and experience the latest Hollywood beauty treatments

And when they get back home the surprise continues: while they’ve been living it up in LA, Martyn and his design team were working around the clock to bring Hollywood style to their houses. Expect glitz, glamour and a whole lot of tears as Tinseltown meets Britain.

The 6 x 60 series was commissioned by Channel 4 Head of Formats, Dominic Bird, and Commissioning Editor, David Sayer. It is a co-production by Ricochet Productions (a Shed Media company) and Full of Bull Productions. Joanna Ball, Rob Butterfield and Vickie White will executive produce and Anna Stickland is the series producer for Ricochet.

Dominic Bird said: “Martyn is one of Hollywood’s most sought after and flamboyant interior designers and we are delighted that he is bringing his unique touch of eccentricity and celebrity glamour to unsuspecting members of the British public.”

Rob Butterfield said: “With the weather, the economy and the news so gloomy, Hollywood Me brings some much needed La-la Land sunshine, A-List eccentricity and makeovers to die for. Martyn is a great interior designer – he’s witty, incredibly talented, but a fish out of water working in the UK suburbs rather than the Hollywood Hills. And our contributors really do have the times of their lives as they’re whisked over to LA for a day of A-list treatments with one of their favourite celebs.”
