To launch the arrival of the new series of Big Fat Gypsy Weddings on Channel 4, today a young ‘bride' paraded through the streets of London in true gypsy fashion.
Dressed in a show-stopping Thelma Madine custom-made pink wedding dress weighing 12 stone and supported by six underskirts, the ‘bride' made her way through the capital, stopping off at several famous landmarks along the way and causing quite a stir amongst the London commuters.
Catch the real-life gypsies creating a stir of their own as the series arrives back on screen Tuesday 14th February, 9pm, on Channel 4.

Please don't let that bus go through a puddle...
Hmmm. Couldn't squeeze onto the bus. Perhaps I'll try a taxi...
Wow, taxis are small. Perhaps I'll try the tube. Now, where's my purse?
I know it can be a squash, but people on the tube are really rude! I guess I'll get a train.
I hate commuting. Do you ever feel like just another anonymous face, lost in the crowd?
Why's everyone got their phones out? Is there something worth photographing? Damn, what have I done with my phone?
Here I am, at the scene of the Royal Wedding. I bet my backside looks better than Pippa's did. Hold on, I've just had a thought. Does this make my bum look big? Maybe I should have gone with a simple figure-hugging number...
