What are your commissioning priorities?
Finding the right mix of programmes over the next 2 years that will help us to achieve our key aims of raising the profile of the Paralympic games and the medal hopefuls competing in 2012.
What are you not interested in?
Violin strings and sob stories about fighting against all the odds. We don't need another magazine show about Paralympic sport and we have events well covered by our core production partners who will be supplying our games coverage.
What are the tariff prices for programmes you currently commission?
The tariff prices are dependent upon which genre your Paralympic programme idea sits with.
What is the biggest creative challenge your team or genre faces?
Exciting the public about the games without peaking too early. And working with sports governing bodies to get the access we need to tell the stories of the athletes.
What advice would you give to new talent companies keen to connect with your team?
If you have a Paralympic idea then you should sent it either to the relevent genre's commissioning editor, copying both Alison Walsh and Deborah Poulton. Or you should send to Alison and Deborah if you're unsure.
