Channel 4 Entertainment is home to a wide range of award-winning and ground-breaking entertainment shows. Whether it’s some cheeky chat on Alan Carr’s sofa, the satirical wit of Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker on The Last Leg, or the mind-blowing events conjured up by Derren Brown – we like to think we make entertainment shows with a difference.

The watchwords for Channel 4 Entertainment are smart, warm, fun and innovative. From the continued and growing success of The Last Leg and Cats Does Countdown, to the re-launch of Fifteen to One and the ever popular returning formats including; 8 Out of 10 Cats, Million Pound Drop, Big Fat Quiz of the Year and Alan Carr’s Specstaculars, we want irreverence with intelligence, substance and high-end production. One of the shows that encompassed a lot of our values was 2014’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraising night – with all our big name stars and shows lending their talents to help raise over £16 million in a 4-hour live extravaganza.

Not only do we work with the industry’s leading names, we are also actively looking to nurture and champion new and diverse talent. In 2015 we’ll be running an exciting new project to find new comedy talent; getting their material on 4Shorts and ultimately launching the best talents on screen. We’ll be introducing new peak time quiz shows that put a spin on a much loved genre, and we’ll also be throwing 10 celebrities into a reality journey through history in our new show, Time Crashers. These shows kick off the year but we are always on the lookout for new ideas that push the edges of the genre with real scale and creativity.
