Creative Diversity is a frontline division working with new and emergent companies – focussing on creative diversity of supply, both regionally and culturally. The team is embedded within creative commissioning and works across all genres and platforms, as a first port-of-call for new, emergent and unorthodox talent. We commission developments and pilots often in partnership with genre editors to bring talent into the systems and make their early work more likely to be taken forward into full production.

The main funding vehicle with the Creative Diversity team is the Alpha Fund, which can assist start-ups, regionally based companies, projects with diverse talent attached and grassroots innovation.
