The town of Bridgnorth, the 'jewel of the Severn'. In 1642 King Charles I described the view from Castle Walk as 'the finest in my domain'.

The Team investigated a tunnel cut into the rock beneath the tower by besieging forces preparing to blow it up. The defenders surrendered before they did so.
