Below: The reconstruction of an Iron Age round house, carried out by the British Army under the supervision of Phil Harding. The daub, a mixture of mud and straw mixed on site, was applied by hand. The aluminium ladders, one of the few concessions to modern technology, were necessary to allow access to the roof for the camera crew.
