What they found
Knockdhu, 20 miles north of Belfast, is one of the most spectacular locations ever visited by Time Team. This magnificent headland, towering over the coast of County Antrim, with views to the Mull of Kintyre and Scotland just 15 miles away at its closest point, contains one of the biggest and most impressive prehistoric sites in Ireland. Yet it has never been excavated – until now.
