Patricia went to a secondary modern in 1963 in Belper, Derbyshire. She became a nurse and is now married with two grown up children. She was a Matron for five years and was housemistress at Rookwood School in Andover.
Pat says her interests are dogs, wine and travel and she was most anxious that she would not be allowed to have her sherry in the school: 'When you do a job like mine you need your sherry'.
Pat says she will be very firm with the kids and won't take any nonsense. She likes a laugh and has a very dry sense of humour.
