Jeanette currently works at the Windsor Boys' School, where she teaches English and drama. She was educated in a comprehensive school in Pinner in the 1980s and in then went on to Royal Holloway, University of London to do an English degree. On graduating she had a number of jobs including working in a music college before training to be a teacher at The Institute of Education, University of London.
Jeanette says: 'It will be interesting to see how I have to adapt my teaching style to take account of the more didactic approach appropriate to the 1960s classroom. I am sure I shall miss the discussion I usually use as an element of my teaching and classroom management.'
