AndrewAndrew
London
Andrew wanted to go to the 1960s school for an interesting experience and to see if he would prefer the practical lessons of a secondary modern to the academic lessons he finds so boring. His ambition is to be a car mechanic.

AshleyAshley
Brighton
Ashley wanted to do this year's That'll Teach 'Em because he is looking for a challenge. He is outgoing, loud and caring. He enjoys working as a children's entertainer in his spare time. At school he loves dance but hates maths.

BenBen
East Grinstead
Ben is a fast talking Sussex lad who loves chasing girls and playing football. Ben hasn't done as well in school as he had hoped and sees the school as his chance to have another shot at the education system, as well as meeting some more girls.

ChristopherChristopher
Manchester
Chris is a Manchester lad who, unlike most boys his age, still has an active role in the scouts as a beaver leader. While he knows a thing or two about tents, he hates sports. When he's older, he wants to be a teacher and wanted to be in the show to see if he could get a few tips!

DarylDaryl
Cambridgeshire
Daryl wanted to make his family proud of him. He also thought the school would be a giggle and wanted to have a good time. At school he's no star pupil but consistently wins the prize for being the year's 'most humorous male'.

FranklinFranklin
London
Unlike other teenagers his age, Franklin loves school and wanted to go to the 1960s school to see how it compared to his ultra-modern inner-city academy in Harlesden. He's a hardworking and dedicated student and his teachers think he might one day be prime minister. Watch out Tony...

HarryHarry
Peterborough
Harry wanted to attend the school to see how differently he would have been treated back then. He doesn't enjoy academic lessons at school and would much rather be out training with the Combined Cadet Force, which he's the head of. Failing that, he prefers to spend his time on the rugby pitch.

HarveyHarvey
Wiltshire
Harvey is a loveable rogue from the West Country and he wanted to go the school as he feels it will be his biggest achievement. At school, his favourite subject is break-time. Outside of school, Harvey works at a local chippie. He is a lad who gets on with everyone and describes himself as charismatic, athletic and modest!

JamieJamie
Sheffield
Jamie doesn't like school and wanted to go back in time to see if he would have preferred it 40 years ago, especially as he thinks he might learn more if the teachers are stricter. His ambition is to be a famous actor and to play James Bond.

JoshJosh
South Yorkshire
Josh wanted to step back in time to prove to his teachers he can make an effort and do better than his bad reputation would suggest. He's a wheeler dealer and is currently much more interested in making his millions selling mobile phones on eBay rather than on what he's going to get in his GCSEs.

LukeLuke
Hertfordshire
Luke is a golf-mad girl magnet. He finds school boring and takes every opportunity to get out onto the golf course instead. When he's not on the driving range, he likes trying out cheesy chat-up lines on local girls. He wanted to go back in time to find out what his mum went through.

ShinaShina
Essex
Shina wants to be the most loved person in the series. Before entering the school, he said he would bring fun, fashion and culture to the school. He's competitive but also a real team player and loves to play sport.
