What did you get out of going back in time last summer?
Although there were the tough times, there were great times, too! The food, contrary to popular belief, was delicious! I enjoyed rehearsing for the play, and watching the scenes being acted out before me. Making loads of new friends was a brilliant bonus, as we would sit in groups during our free time and either chat to get to know each other better or play games, such as sardines, to pass the time!
Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I learned to appreciate what I have now even more than I did before! When things got tough at King's, they got really tough. Everyone was there for each other, however, to help them get through the four weeks intact! I have also learned to appreciate the kind of education system that was followed in the 50s. In my opinion, if the 50s education was placed in today's society, I for one would learn a lot more!
