Pat usually works at Bramcote Lorne School in Retford. When she asked her pupils how she should behave in the series, they told her to be herself. She also feels at home among her new colleagues: 'There are certain characters in the teaching staff that I can recognise from my own school days - especially the headmaster and the PE teacher!'
