The Dallas letters
Letters in an old suitcase sparked the interest of Patrick Windle. A Colonel Dallas had sent them to Patrick's great-great-grandmother, asking for her help in tracing his family's history for a book he wished to write. Who were the Dallas family and did the book ever get written? Our research takes us from the Isle of Man to the US, piecing together the history of one of America's most influential families.
