Although wealthy herself, she must be careful not to offend her hostess or the hospitality of the host with generous offers to her charge. Rosie Hammond is a multi-millionaire, having built up her own national landscaping company from scratch. She has been single for 16 years, and started her business when her husband left, taking a risk in setting up the business on her own. It has since flourished making her a wealthy lady but she is still proud of her working class upbringing in Liverpool and she retains a faint echo of the accent. She has two children, who both work within the company. Rosie has a passion for writing short verse, as well as roulette, cards and horse racing. She has a substantial staff, and a 54-foot wardrobe!
