In Regency Life:
With a much poorer income, Lisa and fellow guest Hayley Conick don't have the same benefits as the wealthier girls. They will have to make their own clothes and will get the more modest bedrooms. While each will have their own Chaperone, they will have to wait for the attentions of the maids, and before a formal function, will be lucky to receive any help at all. One will have to share her room with her Chaperone, while the other will sleep on a day bed in the dressing room attached to her Chaperone's. This means that every move will be carefully monitored. Both girls have the most to lose, however - in a love match - the most to gain.
In Real Life:
Lisa is a savvy London girl who originates from Kent. She has two sisters who have both settled down with partners and despair of her ever doing the same. Having read her way through the classics as a teenager and having a partiality for Jane Austen's Emma and Pride & Prejudice, The Regency House Party was an ideal opportunity for Lisa to experience an era she loves. She studied drama and has had a varied career which includes working back stage making period costumes at Les Miserables, marketing for an IT company and working as an events organiser for the International Advertising Festival in Cannes. Hooked on Scuba diving and inline-skating she spends much of her spare time skating around Hyde Park when not appearing on stage with the Acting Company she belongs to.
