Warlords
World
War II was not only a military conflict. It was also a series of private
psychological battles waged by the four great leaders: Adolf Hitler,
Joseph Stalin, Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill. In these mental
duels, the 'warlords' lied, schemed, charmed, flattered and
cheated to win.
This website examines the lives of these four extraordinary individuals. Eight significant psychological traits come under scrutiny, each being compared and contrasted between the leaders. In addition, an extract from the book of the series provides snapshots of how each of them behaved at an important point in the war. Finally, we provide the resources so that you can take your interest further.
