A highly technical treatment, with emphasis on the 'nuts and bolts' of
the ships and the weapons.

The definitive history on the technical development of the British battlecruiser.
Jutland 1916: Death in the grey wastes by Nigel Steel and Peter

An excellent recent treatment with an emphasis on politics and diplomacy.
