This has 2,000 files covering 3,000 years of world history, navigable
via a timemap that shows what was happening where in the world at any
given time. Sections include 'People', 'History', 'Events' and 'Maps'.
Go to 'History' and then '1500-2007' to find a great deal of information
on the 17th century throughout the world.
