Programme 3: The Great Outdoors

Lady Devonport gets stark naked and invites everyone to strip off and join her. The Victorians recognised that fresh air and sunlight had therapeutic health benefits and by the 1920s the Sunlight League took this a step further by promoting nudism.

This week's theme is the 'the great outdoors' when the volunteer dieters leave the confines of their health farm to try cycling, golf, archery and other outdoor pursuits suitable for both men and women. But a trip to the Victorian seaside at Cromer goes horribly wrong when a group sneak off for a booze up in a local pub and break their diets.
