Truly Madly Deeply follows five months in the lives of three people looking for romance through Britain's most unusual dating agency – Stars in the Skies. But this is definitely no ordinary dating agency. Stars in the Skies was set up by and for adults with learning difficulties.

We follow the stories of Micky, Louisa and Apu as they pluck up the courage to actively explore the daunting world of love, sex and relationships. How successful will they be in finding partners? Will Micky 'pull', can Apu be at the coffee shop at 6pm exactly to meet Tamanna and Louisa, well, she's off to an Italian restaurant to meet William and will he want to give her a goodnight kiss?

Whatever happens, the fact they all got a chance to find their partner is down to the determination of 31year-old Lolita Jones. Lolita, who has learning difficulties herself, came up with the radical idea because her friends were getting married off and she was having trouble finding the right man. With help from her support worker and Pauline, who too has learning difficulties, Lolita and Pauline formed Stars in the Skies and have not looked back since.

So, will they find what they're all looking for?
