Tracey's unstructured diet of treats and large portions has seen her pile on the pounds in recent years. Her daily calorie intake is some 3,400 calories which puts her 1,400 above the daily average for a woman.
Her husband can't resist buying her snacks and treats all the time, Tracey loves chocolate and sweets.
The vending machine in Tracey's office – she works in telesales – is a constant temptation and workers are often rewarded for hard work with food and drink.
She's something of a boredom binger and constantly finds excuses and justifications for eating in a way she knows she shouldn't. Tracey hopes to lose weight so she can be in good shape to start a family.

Alex
Alex would like to put on at least 2 stone, he hates his gaunt face and dreams of being putting on weight to obtain a more muscular physique.
He is a young, single guy who weighs just over 10 stone and who survives on a diet of sandwiches, supplementing with pro plus for extra energy.
He hasn't really had a decent meal since he left home five years ago.
He should be taking on board about 3,000 calories a day for his physical work but is only managing 2,000 – well below the target.
As he has a physical job he is often lethargic at work, but doesn't often feel hungry.
As a child Alex was always thin and never ate junk food.
