Andy
34-year-old Andy is so unhappy with his weight he will only leave the house to go to work. When he does leave the home he is often subjected to verbal abuse. Andy has always been overweight; his parents were both obese, as were his siblings.
At 35 stone and with a young family, Andy is desperate to lose weight if he ever hopes to walk his 11-month-old twin daughters down the aisle.
His wife of ten years Anne-Marie worries that Andy is heading to an early grave unless he changes his current lifestyle.
Andy's current diet includes a mid-morning snack of a bacon sandwich, plus a large meal for lunch and dinner.
Andy eats takeaways at least four times a week and can eat four large family sized packets of crisps in one sitting. In all, Andy is eating about 7,000 calories a day which is 64% more than he should.
