The Programmes

Each week our team of Dr Christian Jessen, journalist Anna Richardson and nutritionist Gillian McKeith will investigate our increasingly dysfunctional relationship with food. Almost every week in the press there's a story about a new diet, superfood or food to avoid – what are we to make of it all? Perhaps it's no wonder we're all getting confused.

Over eight weeks our team will see if they can change the attitudes of our volunteers to their diets, discover more about some of the faddy and celebrity diets that fill our newspapers and magazines and attempt the holy grail of reducing the nation's rears.
