Episode 5

Amaral Family
Michael and Lorraine Amaral own a restaurant and work seven days a week, leaving them no time for their "rough and tumble" boys: Ryan (nine), Logan (four) and Kade (two).

Mum Lorraine is at breaking point, trying to juggle work and family while the kids run amok in the restaurant like it's their own personal playground.

It's driving everyone crazy, especially the employees, who are also expected to babysit!

Can Supernanny Jo Frost put this family back on track and help them find some balance between work and home?

Episode 6

The Facente family
Supernanny Jo Frost teams up with world-renowned autism expert Dr Lynn Koegel to tackle the parenting issues faced by a family whose three-year-old son is in his own world.

Deirdre and Trae Facente don't know how to integrate their autistic son, Tristin, into their daily life with their twins, Kayla and Marlana (4). Tristin is caught up in his own world of spinning, jumping, swinging and, often, taking off his clothes. The only time he spends with his family is sitting at the dinner table. The parents are at a loss as to how to help Tristin come out of his zone and join the family.

Enter Dr Koegel and Supernanny. Together they refine the classic Supernanny methods and teach all the Facentes Dr Koegel's inclusion and communication techniques to help engage Tristin. For example, when they introduce the new daily schedule to everyone, Dr Koegel uses a picture board with Tristin to help him understand in a concrete way.

In just a week, Tristin, who had never been able to say any words with consistency or an understanding of their meaning, is able to speak hundreds of times using over 20 different words in context. He is bursting with requests to play a favourite game, be tickled or eat a snack.

Step-by-step, Jo and Dr Koegel help the parents keep Tristin from his disruptive behaviours by including him in family chores and activities. These efforts culminate in the boy helping his dad set the table, a seemingly mundane task that is so miraculous for Tristin, it brings tears to Trae's eyes.

Episode 7

The Keilen family
Tami and Shaun Keilen are living the American dream.

This former Navy SEAL and his beautiful wife have a successful family business and four gorgeous children.

However, this dream becomes a nightmare when the parents return home from work, as four-year-old twin terrors Maile and Malia run roughshod over Shaun and Tami.

Well-behaved big sister Haeley (six) and docile baby brother Leighton (one) are lost in the chaos, as the twins habitually take three entire hours to get dressed, screaming all the while.

Tami devotes much of her home time to compulsively housekeeping, and Shaun, who can face any military challenge, can't hold his ground to the demanding twins.

Even Supernanny concedes that, in this house, if she wants to talk to the head of the family, she'll turn to Maile. Can Mum and Dad regain control and find harmony with their brood?

Episode 8

The Tsironis family
When Elizabeth and Bob Tsironis' twin boys, Teddy and Nicholas, were born, they only weighed a pound each.

They beat the odds to become healthy, strong three-year-olds, but their parents are so grateful that their miracle twins survived, they completely spoil the boisterous toddlers.

Nicholas even has a broken leg from Teddy pushing him off the bed!

Meanwhile, their four-year-old sister Kate is sometimes overshadowed by her brothers' pandemonium.

She copes by compulsively lying about painful foot cramps to get attention: everything stops in the household when she is "stricken." She also manages to get the twins blamed for her own misbehaviour, but her parents have no idea they are being duped.

Can Jo Frost solve the Tsironis family's problems?
