Episode 1

The Hancox-Smith family
Madison still breast feeds on demand even though she is nearly three. Her constant demands for "Mi Mi" are putting a strain on Jenny and Simon Hancox-Smiths marriage.

Madison sleeps in the same bed as Jenny so she can breast-feed through the night and has never slept in her own bed.

The two boys, Cameron, eight, and Flynn, five, are no night-time angels either. The boy's bedtime is a nightmare for the family; they refuse to stay in their beds and Simon has slept either in Flynn's bed or on the floor of their room for the last 5 years.

Cameron and Flynn constantly fight and swear. Even a simple car trip to the supermarket is chaos. With Madison and Flynn constantly taking off their seatbelts and all the children hitting each other Supernanny has to stop the car and hold up the traffic to try and restore some order and safety.

Episode 2

Porter family
Princess Maddy rules the roost in the Porters household. She is a nine year old who tantrums like a two year old if she doesn't get her own way.

The whole family is treading on eggshells. Mum treats her like a baby choosing her clothes, helping her shower, brushing her teeth and cutting up her food for her. She even has to be bribed to take a shower.

Her mum Hayley's first child from a previous marriage died before he was two. Supernanny soon realises that this is why Hayley’s been wrapping Maddy up in cotton wool.

Tantrums can last for hours with mum being the main focus of Maddy's outbursts and physical aggression. Biting and scratching is commonplace and mum is the main victim.

Outings often have to be stopped before they've even got out the car as Maddy's tantrums are so extreme.

Can Supernanny tame the tantrums? Or is this one battle of the wills which can't be won?

Episode 3

Tomlin family
Mum Claire has got her work cut out with three kids aged three and under.

The two-year-old twins behave like rival lion cubs; vying for her attention and their constant demands to be picked up means that Claire rarely has a minute to herself or time to spend with three-year-old Amelia.

The boys' trump card, when they don't receive the attention they crave, is to throw up. This can happen several times a day.

When they're not baying for mum's attention they're battling each other and most of the day is spent with one or the other in tears.

The children's behaviour has got so bad that Clare fears taking them out of the house. They are fast becoming prisoners in their own home and recently cancelled a family holiday to France as the thought of the travel was too stressful.

Parents Claire and Paul Tomlin have resorted to putting a lock on the boys' door at bedtime to get some peace and quiet. Supernanny does not approve.
