Ala and Abby are two young single mothers struggling to cope with the pressures of bringing up their children. Theirs is a constant struggle to make ends meet and to save enough to buy their children presents for Christmas. Their friendship keeps them going when times get tough. Yet, back into their lives come the fathers of their children. How will their children react and will the fathers stay or go?
We follow the daily lives of Ala and Abby over these roller-coaster months and see how they rise to the challenges and begin to take control of their own lives.
