The Cavaliere family, from Leeds, are mum Pamela (43), dad Vince (47), Felix (14) and Lydia (11).
Pam died of cancer earlier in 2007
They are a wonderfully warm, fun family who have always kept a sense of humour in spite of everything they have been through. Pam was glamorous, funny and sociable, making friends wherever she went. Vince, a family GP, is warm, open and fiercely proud of his family.
As a parent, Pam had a very close relationship with her children and saw herself as much a friend as a mother. Vince is a strong father who has high expectations for his children. Felix is a typical teenager who enjoys his social life and loves music. He had a fantastic relationship with his mum. Lydia is a lovely, confident young girl. She is the performer of the family who adores singing and acting at any opportunity.
Pam was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in October 2004 and had embraced the Mummy Diaries series and all the support it provided to her and her family through some predictably terrible times.
