The Families
Over the course of two years, the Mummy Diaries followed the lives of five families living with a mother with an incurable illness. The families included one with teenagers who have lived with their mum having cancer for much of their lives; there was a mother with two very young children whose illness has progressed rapidly; and a mum who now faces a more hopeful future after an initial prognosis of just a few months to live.
