On average, 100 people polled on the streets thought Debbie was 56.
After a week with the 10 Years Younger team of experts, her age was guessed at 40.

Debbie's real age is 46.

In this first episode of the series, presenter and stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones and her team of experts have to work a miracle on the drab and drooping looks of Scouse shop-worker and mum, Debbie Ashcroft.

In an average year, Debbie smokes 8,000 cigarettes, spends a sizzling 80 hours on the sunbed, and dyes her hair to a brittle mass no fewer than 24 times. No wonder her saggy skin, tired eyes and chins plural are in need of a radical overhaul. The treatments, plus wardrobe and make-up master classes did the trick, and knocked a staggering 15 years off the average age guessed in the public poll.
