The Natural
Health Bible
Joanne Harris
The Natural Heath Bible is aimed at all but its tone slants
towards a female audience. It contains the latest approaches
to healthy eating, regular exercise and relaxation and recommends
a whole host of natural therapies to try out. The Chinese herbs
and tonic section is particularly interesting with remedies
such as Dear Fungus for circulatory, respiratory, immune and
sexual dysfunction and White Peony for PMT. The natural mind
section covers everything from exercising to regenerating to
feeding the brain. I particularly enjoyed the section on laughter
and chocolate - I always knew it was good for you! The Natural
Health Bible is a great coffee table book. It outlines the health
options available in a non-prescriptive way and allows the reader
to choose the best option for them.

The Detox
Plan: Clearing your body, mind and emotions
Jane Alexander
Nicely written with a bit of everything - detoxing, some yoga
exercises, hydrotherapy, juicing, aromatherapy. A good book
for anyone
interested in improving energy levels and living more healthily.
