Stress is the word on everyone's lips today. No matter where you go – the pub, the office, the high street – people talk about feeling stressed. More than two thirds of UK adults (70%) say they feel stressed at work, according to a survey by the International Stress Management Association in 2000. Of course work is not the only cause of stress: families, money, relationships all play their part too.

step 2 – sleep and feel better

step 3 – keep fit, keep calm

step 4 – eat, drink and be merry

step 5 – beat the clock

step 6 – eliminate the negative
