The first is Fraxel Re:Pair - a brand new treatment involving a CO2 laser which vaporises 30% of the skin it moves across, leaving thousands of tiny holes. As these holes close up a few days after treatment the skin tightens. But it is dangerous: your skin must be protected from the sun for at least three months after the procedure. Kate remains to be convinced that the pain is worth the gain.
