Sandie (59) is from Norfolk. She was first prescribed benzodiazepines 31 years ago to combat anxiety. She now feels they control her life. This is Sandie’s first clinical attempt to rid herself of her addiction.

Antony
Anthony (42) is from Cumbria. He has been an alcoholic for 7 years. This is his second attempt at beating his addiction, but, he feels, his last chance: he is desperate to beat his alcoholism for the sake of his wife and children.

The Patients - Vanessa
Vanessa
Vanessa (31) is from the South Coast. She has been addicted to crack cocaine for the past six months having beaten previous addictions before. She is determined to get clean and stay clean this time, so that she can return to college, go to university and eventually have a family.
