As part of Channel 4's Addiction Week, Hardeep Does Drinking provides a frank and revealing exploration of Britain's growing culture of binge drinking.

Actor and rapper J Rock of Big Brovas fame has been smoking marijuana for 14 years and is desperate to give up. This one-hour observational documentary charts J Rock's struggle to give up one of the constants in his life and witnesses how he copes.

Giving Up The Weed reveals how misconceptions about the drug's safety and effect have lead to it becoming ubiquitous throughout society, and how young people are fooled into believing that weed is legal and not seriously addictive. J Rock's quest to give up cannabis highlights the perils of drug addiction and dispels the myth that cannabis is an easy drug to quit using.
