How is it used?

Smoking is by far the most common method of consuming cannabis and it's usually smoked with or without tobacco in a 'spliff' or on its own in a pipe. Cannabis can also be eaten, usually as an ingredient in food such as the dope cakes that are on sale in Amsterdam's coffee houses. Drinking it is another method of consumption and in India 'bhang' is made from the leaves and stems of uncultivated plants and blended into a pleasant-tasting beverage. The effects of eating or drinking cannabis can be less predictable because people often don't measure the quantity as carefully, or may not know how much of the drug is being consumed.
