Great film....and remarkably not to bloody or gruesome considering the subject!
Another Long Horn Jim hit!

I caught this quite by chance today and couldn't help be both moved and impressed at the same time.
Imagine that you can't leave your house without a carer and if there isn't one available, then you just can't leave the house. This is the situation for Georgina and her short film follows her attempts to organise a day out with her friend. A simple enough task for anyone without a disability, but for Georgina, it's a series of letdowns, disappointments and boredom - until finally the day is planned and she eventually leaves the house.
Moving, frustrating but ultimately uplifting & well worth a watch. Great film, Georgina!

Fantastic! colors angles sounds and voices. something i strive to accomplish soon. thank you for the inspiration.

Great story, well told, warm voice, good visuals.

WOW that was really powerful.
Amazing.

Really well done, nice pace, great story, good editing and CONGRATULATIONS!!

BRILLIANT!!!!!
WOW
What a great doc and what amazing people you are.
Great story, great editing, great idea.

I enjoyed the silence of this doc.
I also thought that the editing was thoughtful and as graceful as the dance.
There was a nice transition between the grey of the doorstep scene and the red and green shadowed stage dance.

I really quite enjoyed this personal look at this lady farmers life, it was very up close and almost intrusive.
There were some very nice shots i particulary liked the shot of the cat against the blue wooden shed.
This doc also fitted together nicely the way it was edited from muddy wellies to muddy hooves...

This was a hard film to watch all the way through, so was quite surprised at is 4 star rating at the time of viewing. The general idea behind the film is to 'help these people' by buying 'ethical fashion'--ie, not produced in sweat-shops. There is also the latent current suggesting this will help lessen the gap between rich and poor. However, the truly hidden purpose of the film is to drum up more hits on the main character's website or fashion store...thereby making him more rich...and the rest of us more poor. Paradoxical..isn't it? If the film crew and main character are really interested in helping 'these people' then I suggest there are more noble ways than this.
