ADOBE PREMIERE - SETTING UP

Open Adobe Premiere and create a new project by selecting File from the menu bar. File>New Project

In Europe we use the PAL video system, so you need to select the DV-Pal folder and choose either Standard 48 kHz or Widescreen 48 kHz, depending on the aspect ratio you have shot your footage at, and then select OK.

Once you have set-up your project, it is advisable to save it immediately. To do this chose Save As… from the menu bar. File>Save As…

Create a new folder in My Documents and name this folder something like FourDocs Film. Place the project file that you are about to save in this folder and name the file FourDocs Film, then select Save.
