Would you like to make a film about the way we're living our lives in the world today? Then The Nag's Finest Cuts film competition is for you
The Nag's Finest Cuts is open to anyone who's got something to say about the way the world's changing today, and what they're doing to make it better. We're looking for either Microdocs (under 59 seconds) or FourDocs (between 3 minutes and 5 minutes) with your take on everything from climate change to guilt-free fashion and from food miles to fair trade.
Think funny. Think creative. Think you can inspire others to make a change?
The best documentaries received will then be considered for a possible 3 Minute Wonder screening on Channel 4 in 2008!

Pick a lifestyle theme and make a short film about it. Here are a few tasters to get you going, but feel free to choose your own theme. For more inspiration, visit The Nag's Issues Section
- Energy - Wait a second, how are you powering that video camera? Can you power it with a water wheel? Have you invented the cycle powered TV, the hamster-wheel powered microwave?
- Fashion - Make a fashion statement with your own 'guilt-free wardrobe' or a Trinny and Suzanna jumble sale fashion show with a conscience or a swap-shop boutique?
- Water - How many friends can you fit in your shower? How many showers can you have from the same bucket? Is being environmental about smelling bad?
- Food - What do you do with that weird shaped vegetable that turns up in your local food box that you don't know the name of? What is a local food box - find out 'what' and 'why' and then film that Jerusalem artichoke arriving on your doorstep.

Make your documentary and upload it to it us through the FourDocs site! If you've never uploaded to FourDocs before, make sure you read our Compression Clinic so you can make sure you've got your doc in the right format for us.
If you want general info on making documentaries, then our Make docs section has all the answers.
If you're not sure of anything, then please email us at fourdocs@channel4.com and we'd love to help you.
Wait for us to technically and legally approve your film (it doesn't take long). Then email info@antiapathy.org and tell them that you're up on FourDocs
The final deadline for entries is December 31st, 2007. So that's plenty of time to do something amazing to change the world and make a FourDoc about it too!
This is an opportunity we're running with Anti-Apathy - read more about them and who else is a part of Finest Cuts here
