Clive Gordon's film about the aftermath of the Serbo-Croat war presents the testimonies of both sides. Wrongs have been committed by both parties and the hatred that remains is still fresh. A Serbian mother grieves for her 12 year old son who was tortured and killed; a Serbian officer talks about his right to the land; Muslims and Croatian refugees talk about the cruelty displayed by Serbian soldiers who interrogated and tortured them and there are the unbelievable testimonies from captives of the Serbs who were tortured and witnessed terrible human rights atrocities. The only thing they all agree on is that they can't live together on the same land with people who want to slit the throats of their children.

The film has no commentary and uses subtitles to guide the audience. The result is a powerful but depressing film that is lead by the testimonies of the people who lived through the war. Not for the faint-hearted.
