Julia is very happy being pregnant but other people are concerned about whether she will be able to cope. She has been deaf from the age of four and blind since she was twenty. The father is a married man who won't accept any responsibility for the child. Julia isn't worried though and she doesn't want anyone interfering. She has a wonderful relationship with her helper and is out to prove everyone wrong.
