A glimpse into Susan's story. Whilst decorating the Christmas tree with her mother, Susan's alcoholic father yet again consumes one whisky too many and the dreaded outbursts begin. In an attempt to escape her grim domestic reality Susan finds unexpected peace in the garden, where she forges an unusual and emotionally charged friendship with a creature she believes quietly understands her.
