An easy broccoli side dish to accompany roast meats. Goes particularly well with our roast guinea fowl with lemon and rosemary.

Serves 6
Ready in 15 minutes

Per serving:

12.1g fat (1.8g saturated)
5.6g protein
2.4g carbs
1.9g sugar
trace salt

Ingredients

  • 2 broccoli heads (about 750g), cut into florets
  • 6 tbsp good olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

Method: How to make sautéed broccoli with garlic

1. Drop the broccoli into a pan of boiling salted water and cook for 4 minutes, until al dente. Drain well.

2. Put the olive oil and garlic into a frying pan over a medium heat. As soon as the garlic begins to sizzle and colour, add the broccoli and toss for 1-2 minutes. Check the seasoning and serve straightaway.
