The traditional Syrian flavours of paprika, garlic and lime combine to create a heady marinade for chicken wings
Serves 4
1. Use a large enough bowl to marinate all of the chicken wings, adding the lime juice and garlic sauce while stirring well, then the salt, white pepper, 7 spices, paprika powder and vinegar, stirring until the mixture has become a thick sauce, taste and add more salt if needed.
2. Add the vegetable oil to the mixture and stir in well - this prevents the wings from getting burned.
3. Put the chicken wings into the sauce and combine well so that they are covered in the marinade, cover and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours.
4. After marinating, the chicken is ready to barbecue. Place them on a mildly hot charcoal grill for 5 minutes each side until they are ready.
5. Place the cooked chicken on a plate and garnish with chopped lettuce and sliced lemons.
